Outstanding senior David Boggs is one of the most athletic and intelligent people.
Freshman and sophomore years Boggs has participated in orchestra, JV soccer, L3/JV basketball and varsity track and field. Junior year Boggs was a part of the National Honor Society, varsity cross country, JV tennis and varsity track and field as a captain. During his senior year Boggs participated in varsity track and field, varsity tennis, varsity cross country, NHS, forensics, and all four years Boggs has been a part of the gifted and talented program.
Boggs is unique because he can bring a new perspective to a problem and can find abstract solutions for any situation. He also has a great sense of humor, which makes everything in his life more enjoyable for him. Boggs’ parents have been the biggest influence in his life by holding him to a high standard in every aspect in life. His humble dream is to save lives by curing a disease. He also dreams of building emergency housing after a natural disaster.
The Mark Twain quote “Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter” is one of his favorite quotes that have helped shape him into the young leader he is today. Boggs hopes to study biochemical engineering. He is still unsure over where he will be attending school, but he has narrowed it down to Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, University of Denver, or Boston University.
