Adriana Romeo is a determined hard worker.
She has participated in cross country, swimming and soccer throughout all of high school, as well as National Honors Society her last two years.
Outside of school sports, she’s involved in club soccer and has also played for the Riverside Renegades. Romeo has been a lifeguard at the Golden Community Center and Splash for almost three years. Some of her leadership roles include being captain of the high school swim team and the club soccer team.
Throughout her years of high school she has held a 4.4 accumulative GPA and has taken many honors and AP classes.
One of her favorite sayings is “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.” She believes that with failure you learn life lessons and more about yourself.
The most memorable moment from high school is going to state in soccer freshman year. “I just remember how exciting it was and how great of an experience it was to go through that journey with my team,” she states.
The people who have influenced her the most are her parents, by showing her how to be a good person, student and athlete. Romeo has also been inspired by social studies teacher Stephanie Rossi.
Her advice she leaves to the remaining Farmers is “continue to be yourself and not let anyone change you, don’t care what people say about you because it causes insecurity and stress you don’t need. It’s unnecessary drama, just be happy with who you are and be yourself.”
After high school she’ll be attending Regis University’s pre-dental program and then graduate school. After graduate school she plans on becoming a dentist or orthodontist.
