Top twenty senior Joe Wirth has had a very busy high school career. He has involved himself in an outstanding plethora of school activities, such as Key Club, student senate,( in which he has been class president three years and student body president for this past year) choir, philosophy club, track, cross country, National Honor Society and the musical.
Outside of school Wirth likes to maintain his busy lifestyle with helping people of all ages from helping elementary school kids by volunteering at schools including Pennington, Kullerstrand and Prospect Valley to lending a hand to the elderly by volunteering at the Argyle Nursing Home and helping with the Senior Citizen Prom. Wirth’s dedication to helping others has led him in his future goals. He plans on attending the University of Northern Colorado to major in elementary education.
Outside of helping others, Wirth enjoys spending time with his family. The people who he looks up to most are his sisters and his family. Wirth finds that a close-knit family is very important. But outside of family a person who has influenced him has been choir teacher, Janine Burns. Wirth credits her with teaching him many new things, especially how great music can be. He also appreciates how dedicated she is and all she does for her choir students.
As it is shown through his actions and hobbies all of which include helping others and being a leader, Joe Wirth has been gifted with a friendly nature which is also what Wirth believes makes him unique. His ability to be friendly and have a conversation with anybody that he meets is sure to help him with his future endeavors of educating the young children of many years to come. But most of all, this top twenty senior simply wants to live a happy life by having good friends and family.
