Top senior Brooke Hanson has definitely made a name for herself throughout the four years she has attended Wheat Ridge High School.
During her freshman, sophomore and junior years Hanson participated in cross country, musical and soccer. She only participated in musical her senior year. The teacher who has influenced her most is math teacher Adam Goudge, and if she could tell him one thing, she would thank him for letting her add his class to her schedule because, “Stats class has in a sad cliché changed [her] life”.
In addition to Goudge, her mother has also made a great impact on her life; her constant positivity, joy, and generosity inspire Hanson to be more like her mother. What makes Hanson unique is that her decisions and their outcomes are not average, and she makes more out of what she has than others do with what they have. Her best quality is her smile “because two rounds of braces have to count for something!” Hanson’s hobbies include singing, running, hanging out with her friends and simply having a great time.
Hanson’s biggest dream is to graduate from college with a useful degree and be able to leave her mark. In order to accomplish this dream, she is continuing her education at CSU next year and will be double majoring in statistics and biology. Hanson is planning to spend this summer working and having fun with her best friend Zoe Sares.
