The greatly anticipated horror movie Annabelle directed by John R. Leonetti was finally released on Oct. 3

After the great success of The Conjuring, it was decided to make a prequel about the infamous doll Annabelle and more about her story.

The main character Mia (played by Annabelle Wallis) and her family begin to experience supernatural occurrences after satanic cultists attempt to murder them. The way the satanic cultists look will undeniably freak people out. After coming home from the hospital, frightened Mia begins to experience unexplainable things. As Mia begins to go through this you begin to feel like her, frantic and afraid.

When a fire begins in their home, Mia begs her husband, John Gordon (played by Ward Horton) to move away and for him to throw the doll away. Although everything seemed peaceful in their new apartment, the doll shows up again. However, Mia decides to keep it.

A short while after, she begins to feel an uneasy presence. This drives her to learn more about the people who attacked her and their cult. She gets to the bottom of things and finds out that there’s a demon using the Annabelle doll to get her baby’s soul. The challenge begins when Mia tries to get rid of this demon.

This horror film definitely upholds the famous Conjuring movie. For some it may seem like a typical paranormal Halloween film. But for squeamish people it will give a fearsome vibe and they will leave the theater constantly feeling as though someone is watching them. Either way it is a great film to watch during Halloween or any other day in October.
