Looking for spook-tacular activities to do during Halloween season?
Well you have come to the right place! This year join your friends and family as you take them to the spookiest venues in Colorado.
First up is the Haunted Field of Screams, navigate through 16-foot-tall corn stalks guided by only the moonlight as you scream and run from your worst nightmares. Everyone is afraid of something, right?
Of course they are! Now face your fears and join the Denver Zoo for creepy tricks and with 25 stations worth of candy at Boo at the Zoo. Who knows? Maybe there will be a spider crawling up your leg…or maybe you’ll be tossed upside down as Elitch Gardens transforms their biggest rides into terrifying thrills.
Don’t like roller coasters or spiders? Attend the Denver Halloween Costume Ball, Friday Oct 31 at 9 p.m. Dress up in your scariest costume and come on down to have a scary good time. Or crawl your way through the museum and meet famous Coloradans like Buffalo Bill, Molly Brown and Elizabeth Rohn from the town of Keota as they are a part of Historic Halloween.
If you think you can handle it, go to Colorado Fear Fest on Oct 24 7p.m. Colorado Fear Fest is a Halloween Festival located in Olde Town Arvada that consists of multiple Haunted Houses (Grisly Lodge and The Dark Mine) and a Creepy Carnival Midway.
If you’re planning on being Albert Einstein for Halloween you definitely need to take an uneasy ride on the Trick-or-treat Train catch a ride behind the historic locomotive in vintage passenger cars hosted by conductors and engineers in full costume and take a tour of our Railroad Halloween Town.
Beethoven would be most impressed with YOU if you hobbled your way to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and joined the musical works of the Symphony; but if you just crave to go to a party on Halloween then the biggest one is waiting in the dark for you to bring the light Colorado’s most anticipated Halloween costume party is back, ColoWeen.
