The Asylum (Haunted House)

Hearts pounding everywhere, The Asylum, which is the number one scariest haunted house in Denver, has many people breathless and scared out of their minds, including myself.  This was my very first Haunted House; it was a crazy experience. It was freezing cold outside and the weather had no effect on me whatsoever, my adrenalin was going, my feet were hurting but I was too worried about watching how close I was to the entrance!

As you make your way through the tortuous hospital for the mentally insane, you will realize what a mistake you have made from the start and wish that this time in the deep dark underground would finish faster, hoping that you will make it out safe. This haunted house is way too intense for young children and is not recommended for children under 12, unless that child is up for a spook and tortuous moments through the underground. This Haunted House was even intense for me and I am 17. The screaming and jumping out of dark spaces was just too much for me. Every 10 feet there was someone or something jumping out and scaring you, almost peeing your pants each time.

The best year round Haunted House Attractions In America, the Asylum/13th Floor were  voted number one in 2014! The Asylum is located off of, 6100 E. 39th. The long lines that these attractions hold are unreal, so most people won’t want to wait close to an hour. I would highly recommend visiting the Asylum if you are willing to be followed, startled and able to take the insane adrenaline rush that these actors are able to provide you!
