The month of September  has been a very drama-filled month for the music industry. Shoes have been thrown and hot tracks have been dropped by some of the biggest artists in the game.

Starting off with female rappers Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. There has been rumors of beef ever since Cardi’s huge come up but nothing has been confirmed. That was until Sept. 8 at New York’s Fashion Week Harper’s Bazzaar. The rappers were leaving the event when Cardi B confronted Nicki asking her to “come here” several times. Cardi then lunged at Minaj attempting to throw her high heel at her but Minaj’s security caught her and accidentally elbowed her in the face leaving a huge bump. Cardi was escorted out of the event. The known reason for Cardi’s confrontation is because apparently Minaj had been commenting on Cardi’s newborn child and criticising her parenting skills. That was her breaking point. Minaj spoke on the radio the next day bashing Cardi, saying she humiliated her, that the allegations were false and that Cardi was dumb and to get her some help. She also added, “You put your hands on certain people, you gonna die, period.” That was the end of the feud, for now!

Moving on, the next feud is between rappers Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly. The beef started back in 2012 when Kelly made a joke on how Eminem’s daughter Hailie was “Hot.” After that MGK was banned from certain media outlets. Six years later Eminem dropped Kamikaze and in the album the song Not Alike was a diss towards MGK.

“And i’m talking to you, but you already know who the f**k you are

Kelly

I don’t use sublims and sure as f**k don’t sneak diss

But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.”

MGK quickly clapped back with Rap Devil dissing Eminem back.

“‘I think my dad’s gone crazy’, yeah, Hailie you right,

Dads always mad cooped up in the studio yellin’ at the mic

You’re sober and bored, huh?”

After Rap Devil dropped weeks went by and nothing had come up until Eminem finally snapped back with the latest diss track Killshot. For now MGK hasn’t responded.

Eminem’s album targeted way more people then just MGK. In the album Kamikaze, Eminem disses Tyler The Creator, Lil Yatchy, Lil Pump, Lil Xan, Charlamagne, Ja Rule, Joe Budden and all mumble rappers in the music industry. Other than MGK no one else has responded to his diss. Not yet at least.

On the bright side of things, the famous artists Meek Mill and Drake finally made up and did a show together. Their beef started back in 2015 and went on until 2018. They both had big diss tracks towards each other which had the media torn between the two. But they have finally put their differences aside and there are rumors for collaborations in the future.
