The NFL season is already half over, and Peyton Manning and the Broncos are rolling past their competition so far this year.
The Broncos are 5-1, and it hasn’t been that easy of a schedule.
They have faced the Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks, the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets and the San Francisco 49ers. All of them were either close games or about a 20 point blowout. Besides a slight hiccup in week three against the Seahawks, the Broncos have shown great strength against all of their other opponents and look like they will be a great post-season contender once again.
Manning, most arguably the greatest quarterback that has ever played, has once again proven that point this Sunday with his 510 career touchdown passes. He is now the first and only quarterback in NFL history to have the most touchdown passes in his career. Manning tied and then later passed Brett Favre on Sunday with his 508 and 509 touchdown passes. He then later grabbed his 510 pass.
The Broncos now have a short week ahead of them when they play the San Diego Chargers, who just came off a 23-20 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. The Broncos and Chargers game should be a good one and the winner will have the best record and be at the top spot in the AFC.
