Tyler, The Creator’s 8th album CHROMAKOPIA has been out for a few weeks now, giving us the perfect opportunity to review it. CHROMAKOPIA is a 53 minute listen, with Tyler, The Creator producing every track with his genreless, classic uniquity that he has come to be known for. Daniel Caesar, Teezo Touchdown, Santigold, LaToiya Williams and Lola Young lend their voices for choruses and supporting vocals throughout this piece, with new, and established artists GloRilla, Lil Wayne, Sexyy Red, ScHoolboy Q and Doechii standing out with their feature verses.
Tyler, The Creator consistently releases music that exceeds standards set for him, this piece is no exception. CHROMAKOPIA is Tyler, The Creator’s most personal project to date, he takes off his “mask” that has hidden his true worries and thoughts about aging and the paranoia he experiences from his fame.
Here are my ratings of each song on a scale of 1-10 on overall quality. Music is subjective and polarizing, opinions could change drastically from person to person, so maybe your opinion differs from mine. Please feel free to comment below. I hope I’ve convinced you to give this album a chance, have an amazing day and keep enjoying music! peace.
